Welcome to Mandu! Mandu is a Korean practice app made by Three Cat Studio LLC ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using mandu.chat, you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and honest.

What Mandu is

Mandu helps you practice Korean through AI conversation, lessons, games, and voice features. Mandu's replies are generated by artificial intelligence. They are usually great, sometimes imperfect — Mandu is a study buddy, not a certified teacher or translator, and shouldn't be relied on for anything where a mistake matters (legal, medical, official translations, exams, and so on).

Your account

• You need an account to use Mandu, and you're responsible for keeping your login safe.
• You must be at least 13 years old.
• One account is for one person — please don't share or resell access.

Free and paid plans

• The free plan includes a limited number of messages per day, plus lessons and practice games.
• The paid plan is $9.99/month, billed through Stripe, and renews automatically each month.
• You can cancel anytime from You → Plan → Manage subscription. Cancelling stops future charges; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Payments already made aren't refunded.
• Daily message limits and plan features may be adjusted over time to keep the service sustainable — meaningful changes will be visible in the app.

Fair use

Please don't abuse the service — no attempts to break, overload, scrape, or resell it, and no using Mandu to generate harmful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Content

The app — its characters, lessons, and design — belongs to Three Cat Studio LLC. Your conversations are yours; we claim no ownership of what you write or say.

The plain-English legal part

Mandu is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it running well, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Changes & contact
